Hi All,
here is what has happened with BITE since the last post back in March. Since the last post, we have updated all the pages for Health and had some key input from many of the academics in terms of resources that can be embedded onto the BITE pages. The resource has been unveiled to the learning and teaching committee within the university and also to the school of health L&T co-coordinators, both with very positive responses and key feedback.
In terms of project evaluation, myself and the learning technologists have run an open day event for the school of Arts academic staff, for them to pop in and talk about there experiences and ideas with e-learning, and to show them how BITE can help them achieve these ideas in a logical way. Evaluation forms were given out during this day in order to gain there feedback for overall analysis. In the next week, BITE will be previewed to all members of the Academic Librarian team at both campuses and also will be the main key area discussed at The Information Services Research and Innovation Group meeting. BITE will also be featured (along with the sister project E4L) , at the JISC regional support centre group in May of this year.
BITE has also been reviewed by our cluster group (Cluster G). The meeting event was held at the university of northampton, and many of the cluster group members from the relevant universities attended. In terms of feedback there are many areas in BITE which have proved to be invaluable in terms collaboration and dissemination with many of the teams within the cluster group, the most significant being a planned collaborative briefing document with the University of Cumbria.

BITE february update
Well February is almost over and things really have progressed within the BITE project. The school of Arts has been reviewed, piloted and is soon to be evaluated in the next 2 weeks within a follow up focus group with a larger group of academics.
We are currently working with academics within The School of Education, in order to design each of the subject pages for the education section of the BITE resource. We have setup focus groups at the beginning of March to gain ideas and comments from academics within education, and to find out how the BITE resource can be tailored around each subject area within education.
One important note to highlight, is that currently the BITE resource is unavailable due to temporary maintenance to the server, however this will be rectified A.S.A.P and the new link will be posted onto the Blog accordingly.

School of Arts update
Well its the first of February and i am pleased to say that the BITE School of Arts website is pretty much finished. All the pages work in the required screen resolution and they all link correctly. Each of the pages has been customised to the individual subject areas and the content on each of the pages reflects on the particular subject of choice. The e-assessment page has now been completed with the introduction of interactive quizzes for the tutor to complete and recieve instant feedback. The virtual assistant has been modified and will include a voice over by a colleague within Learning Technololgy ( so no more irritating computer voice). The website will go live as off Tuesday 5th February with all new content being added over the next few days.
Will keep this blog posted on any new updates as they come in

project BITE update (December)
The school of arts resource has been reviewed by the external assessor and is presently being implemented for expansion onto the web. At present the pages have been created and the content is being added allowing for the main website to be uploaded in the next week or so. The layout of the site follows the same site path as the work done in Director, but also will include new case studies and updates from newly created materials.
